Weeks 17-18

Option 1 

Activity:  Color a picture of a hand and draw crazy fingernails coming off the fingers.

Supplies:

• Your Stork
• Weeks 17-18 Baby Development Update Card
• Hand Coloring Page
• Markers, crayons, and/or coloring pencils

Directions:

1. Organize the delivery at the front door with all of the supplies above
2. Lead your child to discover the delivery
3. Read the “Weeks 17-18 Baby Development Update Card” as a family
4. Color the “Hand Coloring Page” as a family, including adding crazy fingernails coming off the fingers
5. Enjoy the benefits of fingernails and take turns giving each other a little back scratch!

   

Option 2 

Activity:  Mommy and daughter paint each other’s nails to practice for painting little sister’s nails when she arrives!

Supplies:

• Your Stork
• Weeks 17-18 Baby Development Update Card
• Nail polish

Directions:

1. Organize the delivery at the front door with all of the supplies above
2. Lead your child to discover the delivery
3. Read the “Weeks 17-18 Baby Development Update Card” as a family
4. Spend Mommy / daughter time painting each other’s fingers and toes!
